DARREN JOHNSON
Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals
"Leave nothing in the tank. Sing it like it's the last song you'll ever do, because it just might be."
Darren Johnson first sang in public at the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Edison, NJ. He was three years old. There were no microphones. You had to really bring it so the folks sitting in the back of the church could hear you.
He still brings it today.
Building upon his gospel roots, Johnson honed his exuberant, multi-octave vocal style in numerous school chorus & theatre productions. His lyrical songcraft matches his personality with evocative, whip-smart reflections on life's emotional roller coaster delivered with power, passion and whimsical fun.
